Change Managment Hub

Project Brief

On this project, I worked with a corporate company on their internal employee portal. The purpose of this portal was to have all of their training materials for change management in one place.

Tools Used

Design Thinking Workshop

We hosted a two-day design thinking workshop with the stakeholders and users to understand what they liked / disliked about the hub and what we could improve upon. We used Mural so that the attendees could add sticky notes with any thoughts they had during the brainstorming sessions.

“The HUB should have clear communication about its purpose, offerings and how to work with us.”

Wireframing Session

Using the workshop findings, we mocked up three different pages: a landing page, a training page & an internal teams page. On day two, we presented wireframes in Mural to get the client's feedback. We used Mural to allow the clients to add their own feedback directly to the wireframes.

Getting Started

Looking through the existing branding information, I pulled the company colors to create a Sharepoint theme template for the development team to implement. The company branding included a lot of lifestyle photography, so I made sure to incorporate that in the final designs. I also updated their existing information graphics to match the new Sharepoint theme.

Here is an example of the photography, colors and icons from the client's branding guide

Branding

Below, you can see the Sharepoint color theme I created as well as the icons I pulled for the development team to use. I provided three different types of photography to use: abstract nature imagery, change imagery and office imagery.

Above is the Sharepoint theme I put together, showing the primary colors, accent colors and iconography.
